Boards & Beers

Triple Crossing Brewing is hosting a gaming night with several games provided.

Catan, Carcassonne, Dominion, 7 Wonders, Pandemic and Ticket to Ride. You can also bring your own.

Winners of said games supposedly get a free pint glass (my suggestion, everyone play Pandemic on easy mode).

See the Boardgamegeek posting for the active discussion.

Parking for the event is a bit interesting and I encourage you look at this map. The green spaces are confirmed safe, the red zones are at your own risk. On street parking on E. Canal and Foshee is available, but I did not mark it on this map.

This was a terrific meetup. Great group of players and you gotta check out Triple Crossing over there on Foushee. They have board games available any night of the week so you can grab some friends and go get your 7 Wonders- Dominion fix whenever! Look forward to attending this one regularly.

There's actually a lot more parking up the hill behind the place. Here's where I parked last night. They had signs saying "Reserved for Triple Crossing Brewery" up there, and there were plenty of open spots.

Will try to make it. Might be late depending on what time I get out of work.

I went down there today to scope things out. Talked to Adam, one of the co-owners. He was excited about the event and definitely a gamer himself. He said they want to possibly host every two weeks or even every week based on turnout. They have a nice space and are even pulling a few extra tables in.

I also spoke to him about parking. There is a good bit, but I highly encourage people to check out the parking map I put together(in the description area and below) as there are some unmarked tow away spots right near their facility. The green areas are good to go red ones are "at your own risk". As is always the case downtown on street parking is as marked. In this case the streets are Foshee and Canal.

I really hope people support this event, as these seem like genuinely good people trying to create a great event for board gamers.

Nathan, thanks for the parking info. I was hesitant to go since I am unfamiliar with that place but we shall see.

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
