This is the reprinted edition by Eagle Games - it has the classic rules and tons of pieces.

New players welcome: the caveat is that you need to have read the rules (not understand them) - this will make it easier to clear up any confusion and start playing.

Let's see if we could do this again with the same rules on a Sunday?

What should I set the thermostat to? I don't mind putting it up, I usually have it at 65, but I don't mind pushing it to 70 or higher if that makes a difference to you.

I'll be happy to bring some snacks, but I don't have time to make oatmeal cookies this time. Maybe some chips and dip?

I read the rules for the reboot of COE and didn't realize that they changed the combat system. I think they made the catapults way too weak...

I googled it and found directions as http://images.freddistribution.com/docs/conquest_rules.pdf hopefully these are the correct ones. Holy cow...20 pages! :-) Please confirm if these rules are the ones you go by.

So did the 12 pages overwhelm you? I see that you aren't coming. :) If you want lighter games, then my Wednesday nights are for you. I had 5 folks over this week and we blew through 5 games in 1 night. Lots of fun and laughter.

ATTENTION: Please give me your final answer on Friday. I need to plan and people dropping out last minute puts all the strain on me. It is rude to say you are coming and not come, or to never even cancel so we wait 20 min for you to show and you never do.

It is sad that I have to write all that but this has been the case - I have always had 1-2 no shows and this is like an rsvp for a birthday party: just not showing up is disrespectful and rude. Have some manners and cancel in a timely manner or ideally show up. Don't say nothing and never appear. I will send out my mobile number on Friday so people can call/txt me so we don't wait for them to arrive if they are not coming.

Imagine if I decided not to be home and you drove out here and I didn't tell you. How upset would you be? Think about 5 people sitting waiting for you and we eventually start without you but we would have waited when we could have started earlier.

Silly question but where can I find the rules? Google them? Thanks

I may come after all. It all depends if I can leave Church early.

    Thanks

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
