What is your favorite board/card game(s)?

I am a big fan of Eurogames (especially Reiner Knizia games), train games that aren't of the 18XX variety, most card games, role playing and an amalgamation of other stuff. I really enjoy "play your own game," "make the most of your luck," tile placement and auction games. I really don't like "throw him under the bus," long (as in six hours plus) or heavy duty strategy games (I'd rather play Memoir 44 than Axis and Allies). But other than my list of three or four "I won't play it" games, I'll try most games, especially if I like the people I'd be playing with.

I love playing games - as well as great conversation had over them!
