Within Reach Film Screening and Cohousing Q&A with Raines Cohen and Betsy Morris

Raines Cohen, a California-based Cohousing Coach and community organizer who works to foster the creation of ecovillages, will present the new documentary Within Reach (he's Associate Producer) and answer questions about the film and his life in and work with sustainable communities.

Within Reach follows his friends Mandy and Ryan, who gave up their corporate jobs and their traditional houses, on their "bike-packing" journey across the USA in search of a new home and way of living, visiting over 100 sustainable communities including many cohousing neighborhoods.

Raines Cohen and Betsy Morris are Cohousing Coaches and community organizers living at Berkeley Cohousing (left: together on their porch, in front of the community green and Common House), passing through Richmond and eager to help us build community.

To whom or what organization are the donations going?

Fellowship for Intentional Community (FIC), the Fiscal Sponsor for Within Reach, will be the beneficiary; Betsy's on the FIC board (I used to be) -- it publishes Communities Magazine and the Communities Directory. Don't feel like you have to limit it to $10, once you see the film you may be inspired to give more to support the effort or order your own screening kit.
