Opening Reception at NIAD Art Center

Serenade: Lists, Poems and Missives
Writing often has a practical function: communication, documentation or expression. But sometimes it can function on a purely aesthetic level. With Serenade we're offering a selection of work that can be both. Featured Serenade artists include Carlos Fernandez, Tony Pedemonte, Adrienne Olmedo, Maria Radilla, Billy White, Harry Ingram, Kames Ham, Sara Malpass, Jonathan Velazquez, and Dorothy Porter.
In our storefront, you can feed your inner-clothes horse when we explore all things apparel with Yes To The Dress. Our lively collection of couture is organized and showcased by an auteur of visual designer, Peter Gravener. Featured artists include Darlene Farr, Jean McElvane, Danny Thach, Felecia Griffin, Lois Ann Barnett, Karen May, Dorothy Porter, Phyllis Carr, Susan Wise, Raven Harper, Barbara Arbogast, Deatra Colbert, Sylvia Fragoso, Julio Del Rio, Shana Harper, Kevin Randolph, Beverly Trieber, Diana De Jesus, Shantae Robinson, Alice Sampson and Tony Pedemonte.
Also opening is A Brief History of Nowhere, amazing silkscreen collages of a dystopic future from San Francisco artist Mark Taylor.

Join us for foodtrucks (Holy Cow Coffee), free and delicious kettle corn (from Endless Summer Sweets) and live music by Quintessence. You know it's gonna be a great time!

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.

Henry, started Reno Motorcycle Riders
