Empress Meditations from 5:30-6:30 and Nicolas Bearde from 6:45-7:45. We usually gather in front of Starbucks -- Bring a chair if you want to sit. Afterwards, if you wish, we can find dinner at one of the nearby restaurants.
Dear Deb: Like Gail's little dog, I'm not okay with loud noise and lots of people but would love to meet you "after" just for dinner. Is that all right? Would you leave me a message when you decide where you want to eat? My cell is [masked]. I'd like to try the Brazilian place (Pikanhas) and Hotel Mac is always good and so is the Baltic.
Richmond Local was formed to get folks living around Richmond (the city not the district) out and about together, getting to know each other and our community better. Join your neighbors for walks in Wildcat Canyon, trips to the wine bar in Pt. Richmond, Potluck Dinners / Movie Nights, or even simply make connections for DIY home projects.
Anyone can plan an event!
Anyone in the group is welcome (and encouraged!!!) to schedule an event. In keeping with the theme of the group, preferably they will be in or near to Richmond, or at least involve a Richmond carpool! the more people that plan events, the more diverse they will be!
Membership Dues - NOT REQUIRED
Membership dues are NOT required. Meetup charges me $72 every 6 months. If you feel you are able to contribute a few dollars to help offset that fee, it is appreciated. If you desire a refund for any reason, one will be issued. No one is required to pay, or will receive any preferential treatment if they contribute.
No-Shows - the "fine" print.
Inevitably things will come up, and you will have to miss an event you have RSVP'd to. If possible, please change your RSVP to "NO" as early as possible if you can't attend, to give someone on the waiting list (if there is one) a chance to come. Many of the events are smaller in nature, so no-shows can really impact the group. Barring extenuating circumstances, any member with more the three no-shows will be removed from the group.
