Last night was a very productive meeting, special thanks to those who could attend! We established short and long-term goals, established our first Task Force, and grew our board of officers. Our short term goal is to host Virginia NOW for our State Conference here in the city of Richmond. Our long term goal is to organize a NOW lobby day for the 2012 Legislative Session. Our project will be discussed in depth next month, so be sure to attend March's business and activities meeting. Date and location TBA. Our officer's board has grown! Jayne Deichmeister has generously volunteered to be our Acting Vice President until elections can be held. Jamie Kannan has generously volunteered to manage our social networking and create our very own Twitter feed! Much thanks to Rose Bono and Helen Bono who are papering MCV and Monroe Park with fliers promoting our chapter and our upcoming conference. Thanks to Cathy Hart, who donated cool retro signs to our Clinic Defense Team.
