Richmond Shamanic Meetup & Drum Circle July Meetup

In celebration of  our 4th anniversary, we invite you to a Munay-Ki Healers  Rite Ceremony

Rooted in the wisdom teachings and trainings of the Peruvian Q'ero, the nine Munay-Ki Rites are offered to all people.

Each Rite ceremony is an energy activation with a specific way of deepening well-being, empowerment and kinship with all life. Like seeds with the possibility for growth, each Rite conveys information and begins a uniquely individual experience of aligning heart, mind and action.

The Healers Rite enhances our well-being, illuminates our healing path, activates the hands to convey beneficial energy and aligns us with an ancient lineage of healers and shaman.

Munay, (moon-eye) a Quechua word, is the primary principle of the Qéro. It is a way of living in harmony that comes from abiding, flexible, deep open-hearted kindness.  Ki indicates universal spiritual energy, as the ki in Reiki, Chi in Tai Chi, Qi in Qi Chong and mana in Polynesia.

Munay-Ki Rites are not a substitute for medical, physiological or psychological treatment.

Receiving the Healers Rite is potentially life changing.

Alberto Villoldo, PhD, developed the Munay-Ki Rites in collaboration with Qéro elders, teachers and spiritual wisdom keepers. Further information is available at

We'll begin as usual with group drumming and creating sacred space. After a brief introduction to Munay-Ki, you'll individually receive the Healers Rite ceremony.

Come, celebrate the spirit world with like minded people who hold Earth sacred.

Join us in this  simple yet profound ceremony celebrating seasons, life cycles and well-being.

What to bring: a drum or rattle if you have one, a notebook, pen and a bandanna. We'll provide extra musical tools, some pillows and chairs. You can also bring a yoga mat or blanket. Dress comfortably.

Suggested donation: $20 (assists in covering our expenses)

We look forward to seeing you there, chungo!

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
