Lunch at Panda Garden

OK, OK, I've been a slacker about organizing anything recently. But I see we have a lot of interesting new people joining that I would like to meet, and I don't want to belong to a group of interesting people that never get to know each other! So I'm forcing myself to get off my butt and schedule something.
I came across Panda Garden by accident. Was trying to go to Strange Matter, since all my veggie friends rave about that place, but it was closed so I ended up across the street. The food was, IMO, phenomenal, though the atmosphere leaves something to be desired. I'd like to do lunch, but just to warn you, they don't start their vegan buffet until, like, 5 p.m., so we'd be ordering off the menu for sure. I'm OK with this if everyone else is, or we could move it to a dinner hour if there is enough interest.
I'm going to see what kind of response I get to this meetup because the place is small and I'll probably need to give the owners a head's up to see if they can accommodate all of us.

Update of 1 Nov: I stopped by Panda Garden this morning and they said they could seat a max of 35 people, so we're good there. They also suggested we all chip in about $11 apiece for a buffet. Since most of our members are vegetarians and vegans, the manager thinks the buffet will give us more variety for approximately the same price as a fixed order. I have to call her back today or tomorrow to give her an answer, and I have no idea how to modify this meetup to "officially" announce the buffet option. My vote is we go with that, so if those of you who are attending have a preference, I would love to hear it as soon as possible. In the meantime, I'll try to figure out how to mod the meetup announcement. Thanks in advance!!
Last update, guys and gals. I got my signals crossed with the restaurant manager. We are still set to meet at noon on Saturday, but the buffet option is off the table, so we will be ordering from the menu only. I apologize for the confusion and back-and-forth. See you Saturday!

What a wonderful event! Spring chose an overlooked venue and attracted an eclectic, friendly, interesting group. Of course this meetup was going to be delightful.
