You are invited to attend a Higher Achievement Volunteer Mentor Information Session!
Come hear about a great volunteer opportunity working with Richmond City youth around their academic achievement. The mission of Higher Achievement is to have every scholar on track for college by the 8th grade. That starts with our volunteer mentors.
Higher Achievement is a rigorous academic afterschool & summer program for middle school students in underserved Richmond communities. Your attendance as a perspective volunteer mentor will engage you with our program overview, three core components, & volunteer opportunities. Additionally, you will learn how by mentoring one night a week to 5th - 8th grade scholars will make a lifelong impact on their college readiness. You, along with other community members will have the opportunity to engage the staff & experienced mentors, as well as network with one another.
Feel Free to bring a guest, all are welcome!
