dear friends--

planning a short hike with a friend, and thought i'd throw it out and see if anyone else is available.  also a sneaky way to post some fall color pics.

we will hike the lost roads and Dune Ridge trail, then a bit of trail 10 in the state park, and back along the lake.  if the winds are too fierce (i can hear the sea roaring from inside my house 3/4 of a mile away with the windows closed), we can return inland.

after that, we will make and eat Mexican chicken tortilla soup.

the wild, west wind fiercely blowing did not interfere with this fine autumn hike, with a good companion, and her charming dog, and a tasty meal prepared together
