Bengal has a heritage of riverhouses on the Ganges. Kabi guru had a riverhouse of his own and so did many prominent people of Bengal. The purpose of the group will be to research on thse boats and to replicate a few for cultural tourism in Bengal. Everyone interested in boats and river houses are welcome to join.
