Dinner main dish TBD.  I welcome (but don't require) potluck sides/dessert.

Bring the craft of your choice & come hang out, chat, and share ideas.  I will have crafting space, tools to borrow, and ideas to share.

Older children who don't need direct supervision are welcome.  They can go upstairs with my kids and watch a movie.

Looking forward to seeing everyone!

Roberta Badger, Linda and Bara's Mom

Surgery was a bit trying, she couldn't eat much day before and then had to take edema in the evening. Thursday arrived for surgery 8:30 am, but it didn't begin until 2 pm then it took 6 hours to complete both surgeries. They did it laproscopically, so there is no big incision, so physical recovery should be quick 2-4 weeks. However they did decide she will need to do chemo-therapy and possibly radiation to be sure all the cancer is removed. They will complete testing to determine what and for how long. She will start that after the beginning of the year. Chemo first for up to 18 weeks, then if needed radiation. She came home around noon on Friday and is getting around fairly well. Definitely sore and doesn't have much appetite and is a bit nauseous

Thank you for the update. We were thinking of your family at the scrap on Friday. Much love to your mom and hopes for a speedy recovery. Merry Christmas to all of you!

Happy holidays. Hope Doug is doing well. I hope to rejoin the group after the first of the year. I would still like 2 sets of pages if you still have them but probably would not be able to pick them up til after 1st of year. Would that be okay? Thanks

That would be fine . . . . probably need to wait until closer to middle of January just with the surgery the first week and then I have some travel stuff for work the 12-15th. I hope you have a great holiday!

Looks like we'll have a small crowd this month. No surprise with the crush of the holidays. For those that do come, I will have some sort of chicken dish. See you then.

Should I bring a dessert? Shortbread cookies? Something else? Deviled eggs. Let me know!

I have never in my life said no to a deviled egg. :-) but really whatever you want to bring . . . . cookies or a side or nothing is fine.

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
