Details on the Parade and Workshops. Please read carefully. he roboparade will be at 1pm on the sidewalk right outside the museum and transition to the parade setup as soon as Wheels and Wagons ends, it’s perfect timing!

Price: both workshops are free, but require paid daily admission or membership to the children's museum.

The web page for our 2014 RoboParade is now live! This year’s event is planned in conjunction with the Blacksburg Children’s Museum and the “Wheels & Wagons” parade. We’re attempting our first outside robot parade!

Welcome to the Roanoke Robotics & Makers Club!
We build robots ... We make all sorts of things... we hold friendly competitions & workshops ... we learn from each other... and we have a lot of fun!
We meet at the Science Museum of Western Virginia in Roanoke, Virginia, on the first Saturday of every month, at 12:00 noon.
The robotics club is for everyone... adults, families, and kids of all ages.
If you like to build, design, hack, modify, learn about & share robotics & other exciting technologies, you'd enjoy our group!

PS - Our rules:
1. Have fun, share your projects and your knowledge, and learn from each other!
2. At club events, all people under 16 years of age must be accompanied by an adult. Kids are encouraged to join the website, as long as their parent or guardian knows they've joined.
