At Marjorie: Thank you for your feedback- so sorry you had to leave due to music volume- we had volunteers with microphones and Panda hats all around, and we did hear a volume complaint at 8:50am. Was that when you were there? We connected with the A/V folks and got that adjusted right away. VWCC supplied a fantastic crew with 4 cameras covering the tables, and the web-stream is saved in HD for you to see the matches!

Henry, thanks for taking the time to reply. I'm not complaining about the music; my son is just overly sensitive to loud noise. My comment was that the big screen was really only useful when zoomed-in on the tables. We could see everything else just fine. Great event!

Check out WDBJ Ch 7 photos of the FLL regional. You may recognize a robo-friend or two. Hint: Victoria http://www.wdbj7.com/news/local/photos-first-lego-league-regional-tournament-at-virginia-western-community-college/29619828

You'll also find as you attend these events, you meet a couple people each time, and before you know it, you recognize and know a bunch of people.

Ben and I came for a while, but Ben was a bit overwhelmed by the loud music. If anyone here has the ear of an organizer, I'd love to comment that it would have been very nice for the audience if the big screen showed the tournament tables throughout each round. We couldn't see any of the action.

Of all the things people have said about FLL, nobody quite explained how fun it was!
