The Park Bench Cafe Ride in H.B.

Park Bench CafeNice little Sunday Cruise thru Huntington Beach to The Park Bench Cafe for a light Breakfast or Snack or just take a break. This all flat ride is only 32 miles with a nice break in the Park and then down Main St. to PCH and then a nice cruise along the Ocean to Castaways Park and around Back Bay to the San Diego Creek Trail and back to the Cars. Short but sweet ride anybody can do who can average 13 mph overall and do 17 on the flats. Hope to see you all there on this short notice but worthwhile ride.

Great little ride in near perfect temps and it started out with overcast skys that made for cool cycling. Great stop at the Park Bench Cafe although it took a while to get served so in the meantime we got a riding tour of the Park led by Ramulus. Good Job Ram. Food was good but the whole thing took about 1 hour. Not a place for a quick stop. But everyone was happy and in no hurry so all was well. Main Street in H.B. was a little crowded as usual and we got to meet up with member Perry whom we have not seen for a while. Good to see you Perry! Come ride with us again. PCH was a nice cool ride over to Castaways Park and thru Back Bay which is always a good and beautiful finish to any ride.
Good to see Pam again and nice to meet her better half Curtis. You all come back again now. Yes. Of course it always nice to see Tony A, & Mark F. They both are great fun to ride with as is Ramulus. Good Job everyone and Thanks for riding today with RCA.

What a beautiful day for the ride! Enjoyed getting to know everyone over breakfast and getting acquainted. Even my husband who usually rides mountain bike was able to join is on the fun as long as we got to stop off at The Donuttery for his maple bacon donut. :) It was a terrific day! Can't wait to ride with you again next time!

Anyone want to get donuts at the Donuttery!?! My husband's favorite donut is the maple bacon. It's so good.

I will try to make this ride. I have to get up by 5AM to be fully awake load my bike and prepared to make it on time. I am not one of those who arrive and start working on their bike and/or filling the tires "that's rude". I do my bicycle prep the night before. If you don't see me "assume" I am not attending. Thanks for listing a nice easy ride.
