ShowNTell Seminar: Modding Minecraft

After spending 2 weeks this summer at a Stanford ID Tech Camp on modding minecraft, Rob is now hooked on programming. Plus he's learned how to make some amazing minecraft tools like an antigravity wand. Rob will show a few of his mods and explain how you can get started with java and eclipse to change minecraft

Will the presentation be just showing the mods he's created as they are played in the game or showing how he actually did the programming?

Man! I'd love to attend this one! But already committed to helping a friend move on Saturday. PLEASE let me know if you have any future events on this topic! My calendar fills up faster than a Tetris game in overdrive...

Mostly I just need a Lot of advanced warning but I understand how that's not always possible.

If we are going to be doing regular seminars, do we need to think about setting up a better dedicated presentation arrangement?

Hard to predict what will be shown - whether slides or stuff. For classes, I put our whiteboard against wall and borrow projector - btw our whiteboard usually in iGate.
