NY recently released a draft of the upcoming "BitLicense" regulations. Needless to say, they are not friendly to small businesses and Bitcoin start-ups. NY is asking for feedback on the draft in advance of finalizing the law.

The time has come for us to get together about this issue and form an action plan, together, for getting this changed.

Sorry I won't be able to join you this time. I'll be thinking about you (wherever the hell I am at the time!)

Based on the current regulatory framework there will major impacts to miners and those who trade bitcoins or altcoins.

I've gotten the help of a lawyer to help me decipher the regulatory framework. She wants us to put together our concerns, impacts to our industry, and our suggested modifications to the regulation.

My advice: Ignore them. Seriously, it's not hard to do with Bitcoin.
