BTW Scott... sorry I didn't get a chance to stop over and properly introduce myself better. The daughter of a friend was staying at the farm (Jenny) and I needed to focus on her a bit. Hope we can chat more and play more next time!

Another great night at the Game Gamut!

I came with the daughter (Jenny) of an old college buddy. We got in a little late.

Kevin, Cole, and Scott were already playing Clash of Cultures.

Stephan, Skye, Zack, Joaquin, Riley, and Aytug (eye-too) were playing Once Upon a Time, which we joined.

Then we played Cockroach Poker and Loot.

    Followed by Zombicide.

I think Kevin, Cole, and Scott worked in a game of Splendor.

    Fun night!

It does look like a good game indeed. Lookskind of like a CIV version of Mage Knight. I would love to try it, but it really depends on how people come in. I like being able make sure everyone is doing stuff, since I am the host.

Also I want to get Terra Mystica to the table today.

It's a civilization/dudes on a map game where you choose the direction(s) your civilization takes re. technologies and government. There is conflict (combat) when players encounter one another on the map, as well as barbarians that attack as well. Here's the BGG link: http://boardgamegeek.com/boardgame/40765/clash-cultures, and here's a link to the rule book (if you're so inclined): http://zmangames.com/rulebooks/Clash_Of_Cultures_ENG.pdf

And FWIW the games I am most intersted in getting to the table are A Study in Emerald, Kemet and Cyclades. But as always... I'll play anything.

I'd like to play Clash of Cultures! Kind of like a Civ game crossed with a war game, right?!?!

Never heard of it, but I will gladly learn about it! What's it like?
