Part 2: Then we broke into 2 rooms and 3 tables. Ken, Matt and I played Cyclades.

Stephan and Dan did Android Netrunner. The rest of the group played Coup.

Cyclades ran long, So the rest of the group re-formed to play Lord of the Ring the board game (by Reiner Knizia) which Cole brought. "Merry and Pippin" the hobbits beat a ring-wraith with their bare hands (not to mention their bare fuzzy feet!)

My wife came back, and despite Ken saying... "I'm going to win in one turn" Matt and I suggested she get in a game of Splendor with Steven and Brian. (Steven won!) Ken did indeed win in one turn and while the bro's were playing Matt and I switched to Ticket to ride.

As Sally and I left, there was a Cthulhu based card game going on, but I didn't catch the name. Lots of games lots of people. Fun Night!

Part 1: Yes... it was ... (wait for it..... ) another GREAT NIGHT AT THE GAME GAMUT last night!

Sally and I got to the Gamut about on time (6ish). Stephan was of course there. Skye was also in the house. I think Dan was also there early. Kevin and Cole were there. Sally Ken and Cole and I played Splendor. A new-comer to the Gamut from Rochester Board Game Nights came in as well as Matt and his two bro's Brian and Steven came in, as did Casey. Stephan, Dan, and a few played Qin.

The rest of us played Slide 5 a fun quick little card game.

Hey guys, I RSVP'd but I was wondering...
I'm most likely going to be new to whatever games we play, will that be a problem? What style of games do you guys enjoy?

7 wonders is the only game there that wouldn't be completely new to me! I guess I'd prefer that we don't play that one (though I do enjoy it). I've got a lot to learn :-)

New or not, come in and enjoy. It's about meeting new people, trying new things, and having fun. My whole goal for game nights is to get people in the store to try new things and have a good time :)
