This group targets bicyclists interested in meeting up with others on organized group rides such as those through the League of Michigan Bicyclists, mountain bike double/single track, or rural dirt road rides. At a minimum, members must be able to bike 15-25 miles per ride comfortably. Some routes are hilly. This group is non-instructional. This seasonal meet-up will likely run through November.Just so you know, I am NOT an expert biker, nor do I know how to change a flat tire or do other bicycle maintenance - seriously.
[Note: Members of Rochester Hills Bicyclists must be at least 18 years of age and are solely responsible for their personal safety, bicycle maintenance, and transportation to/from events. Biking and other events are HAZARDOUS sports that could result in injury or death - bike Helmets are required (e.g. ANSI or SNELL approved). See League of Michigan Bicyclists www.lmb.org for information on biking rules, laws, and safety information. By joining this group, you represent that you are of sound medical condition, are responsible for the condition of your bicycle, agree to obey laws and any rules of the ride, agree to wear a helmet and carry identification. By joining Rochester Hills Bicyclists, you agree to (and bind your heirs, administrators, representative, executors, etc.) waive and release all rights and claims for damages and agree to hold the Organizer and Rochester Hills Bicyclists harmless due to your loss, injury, damages, etc.]
With that being said ... now let's have some fun !
