Regular Meet at Genesee Country Village Nature Center

The 2014 Rochester Orienteering Club (ROC) annual Icebreaker is scheduled for April 6th at Genesee Country Village and Museum, 1410 Flint Hill Rd.,Mumford, New York 14511.  Follow the link at the top of our webpage for the "next event" in the yellow header. There is a map on that page, click it to zoom if you need further directions. The Nature Center is to the south of the large parking lot. If you have not already registered please use the following link: Online Registration.  Remember if you pre-register you will save $1.00 off your registration fee!  If you are not able to get to the event there will be no harm done. You pay at the event.
This will be a regular event with White, Yellow, Orange, Brown, Green and Red courses.  Course information will be available soon.
Course setter notes:   As of last Thursday the trails were ice covered and slippery.  There was still snow in the lower areas.  The wet areas were wet and will be wetter with the rain and snow over the weekend.  Watch out for wire fencing along the fence lines. There will be areas on the map that has lines and cross hatching, PLEASE STAY OUT of these area.  The GCVNC has asked us to not use these area, please.
For the new members and those that were at the March Workshop this is a good place to put your skills to use.  There will be instruction for those who would like it. Come out and join us.
