In 1993 an engineer friend and co-worker said, "The IBM 486 computers on our desks are like F-14 fighter jets; but most of us only use them to taxi up and down the runway". Can the same thing be said for Photoshop and Lightroom today?
Let's leverage our investments in our photo-editing software by spending an evening learning new ways to use Photoshop's selections, layer masks and blend modes - along with a special BRUSHES demo (a topic not covered at RPEG before). For those who are new, we try always to make presentations that can benefit users of all levels: Beginner, intermediate and advanced.
Cynthia Fay gave us a great portrait touchup presentation in November, and she's agreed to return this month to show us some more of her favorite LR tools and procedures. If Lightroom is your editor of choice, you won't want to miss this one!
We'll also start out with a brief demo with another idea for using off-camera flash to achieve a special lighting effect. And as always: Be sure to RSVP soon rather than later, and why not mention us to a friend who might also enjoy being a member of RPEG?
