Fundamentals of Exposure-ISO, Aperture, & Shutter Speed-Hands-on Photo Class

Join Bob for this Basic Photography class.  This is a great follow-up to the 6-hour Basic DSLR workshop or as a stand alone beginner workshop.   The class size is small.  You will be learning by doing - clicking the shutter! - throughout the class.

This class will cover The Fundamentals of Exposure - ISO, Aperture, and Shutter Speed (the exposure triangle).  Understanding these basics elements will help ensure you take better pictures in a variety of lighting conditions and environments.  Are your subjects too bright or too dark in your images?  Learn exposure compensation techniques that will help you adjust your camera settings to have an appropriately exposed subject regardless of the lighting conditions.  In addition to exposure, this class will help you learn to control your focus and Depth of Field more accurately.

You will be practicing your photography skills as you are learning.  If you have a flash bring it along, not required, but helpful.

This class is good as a follow-up to the 6-hour Basic Workshop that was held this winter.  Please contact us with any questions.

I'm interested. Is this class teaching you how to shoot in the raw? Is one on one the same price?

Hi Brenda. This date 3/29 is already full. If someone drops out, Meet-up sends you a notice. This class will be offered again on 4/27 at 11:30 am. This class is about the Exposure Triangle - lighting and controlling your settings in a variety of lighting conditions. A private lesson (1-on-1) is $75 for a 90-minute lesson. Thanks! Brenda, just to clarify - Bob doesn't have a class that gives instruction on how to shoot in RAW. You can capture anything in RAW, it is how you process it afterwards that is different for RAW. The series on Lightroom would address images shot in RAW. Thanks! Juliann DiTommaso

Do you know your next future class date for this?I was hoping to go to this one before my son's bday party, Easter, and our vacation but unfortunately I have a commitment this date I can't miss : ( or maybe I could do a private lesson what it's the cost of that

Yep unfortunately that would be while I'm in Tennessee what I wanted to learn this stuff for to make the most of my scenic pictures of the mountains. But that's okay its a schedule you have to do that works best for you

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
