Chili Cookoff

Bring your best chili and enter it into a contest, or come by with an appetite for chili, or shall we pronounce this one "Chi-lie" after all, this is Rochester. This event is an open event, so please bring a friend.

Cooks enter the contest by bringing the chili and are free to attend, Diners will be charged $5, to sample the chili and vote for the winning chili recipes. Children will be free for this event.

There will be a prizes for the top chili cooks and plenty of fun and chili to go around. This will be a parent and child event, so no alcohol will be served until after 8:30 When it will become a parent only event. Also looking for parents to bring a side dish to pass around. Suggestions include: Cornbread, mac and cheese or desert (ice cream should work well to cool off the palate after a bowl of chili.)

This will be our first fundraising effort for many of our newer members so let's have fun and make this event a success!

Sydney decided she wants us to try and make a desert chili.
How many are we cooking for?
Do we need to worry about bowls?

Maybe I'm not technology proficient, but it didn't seem to give me the option for 3 guests when using my phone to rsvp. I will bring all 3 of my kiddos.

Hi Paige, I changed the settings. Please feel free to update your rsvp and bring as many people as you like. :-)

The contest will be informal, no rules on type of chili, just make a bunch and bring it. Running out doesn't disqualify you, though it may lead to less votes. The diners will also act as judges.
