Green Lecture Series: Composting - Why and How, the basics and more!

Composting - Why and How, the basics and more!

Join Sierra Club Rochester ECOS for our Green Lecture Series, presenting Certified Master Composter Jane Giblin, as she shows you the basics of composting and all its great benefits. Jane will teach us how to take grass clippings, leaves, and other plant remains and make them into beautiful, nutrient-rich soil you can use for all your Spring planting. Food waste such as fruit and vegetable peels, eggshells, and coffee grounds can be used too, which helps reduce garbage sent to landfills. Please join us for a fun and eco-friendly presentation on how you can start composting today!
