My wife and I bought new bikes a few years ago and decided to make Mt biking a large part of our lives. The wife works weekend/overnight shifts so I thought this was the perfect reason to start this group.
I would like to ride a couple times a week, weather permitting. Dryer is the normal spot but Tryon is good to. OCP is fun because its bigger but Ellicottville is my favorite thus far.
Pounding a GT Sensor 29er fully, hunter green and gold.
I would say a 3-4 as I'm willing to try the hard stuff, my descents could be faster though the corners and I need to work on my balance skills. I will ride any trail at Dryer. Sketchy stuff is cool but I'm getting a bit more cautious at my old age.
Short power climbs 4, but long endurance "grinders" a 2. Climbs and I don't get along very well as my lungs don't like them. I can climb Moon Valley & Elevator without stopping but normally need a break at the top.

is it possible to catch a ride with you on Monday?
I thought abour the FTF this weekend, but Saturday is the only day Swain is open in July. My wife and I will be camping down at Stony Brook for the weekend and I will head to Swain because it is so close to the Park. Thanks for the heads up though.
Hey Shone,
I was wondering what i would have to do to get one of those pictures from the Photo Opt day for a small picture in my senior yearbook.
Howdy, what was the name of the lights you are using. I'm going to get some this weekend, tired of riding in the dark.

That ride was really fun and challenging the other day in Ellicottville. I had a great time and my legs are still feeling it.
