Five stars to the Glenn Curtis Museum.
That place is fantastic. Last time I was there was
pre- 1993, they had just moved into the new building,
It was good then but in the ensueing 20 years,
they have turned it into a regional treasure.
Great idea, Joe or Ed or.....

    Joy,
I posted the ride for Joe. I know we usually meet on the west side but I mistakenly wrote east side. It was my mistake.

    Did we leave someone behind?

    Yeah, Jim

It does say EAST side of Wegman's on here.

    • Joy

You're right, it does. I believe Joe Rocone put up that info up. This was his first time hosting an event. However, he didn't show and in the past, the group usually meetings on the West side. For the record, either side works. People just went to the side they are familiar with.

A preliminary route update. Total route is about 150 miles round trip from Wegmans...

First stop will be Ontario COunty Park for lunch and short break, approximately 40 miles.
2nd leg will be Park to Museum, 35 miles.

Those not touring the museum can head up to Hammondsport... note, the "We are the best small town in America" celebration is apparently this weekend in Hammondsport... unconfirmed.

    Meet back at the Museum.

Leave museum for Canandaigua via Branchport. Stop in Canandaigua.

From there head back up into Rochester or folks can break off to their respective destinations.

If anyone can think of a stop in Canandaigua... rest rooms, drinks, etc, please let me know.

Other suggestions I'm open. TExt me at[masked] or post here.

Ok, I have received a few emails. The destination is the museum. For those not interested in the museum, they can break off and head into town. We will establish a time and place to rendezvous for the return ride.

Thank you for the approval. Have been riding for a few years now but the majority of that has been by myself. Only have a range of 120 before I have to hit reserve and 145 before I am pushing

    • joe roncone s.

Jasen no worries we will stop every 100 miles or so to gas up,just show up with full tank

      1 · April 29, 2013

    • Jasen

Excellent, I'll top off when I get into Rochester.

      April 29, 2013

  • Jim M.

    Jasen,
You should not have a fuel problem. There are a lot of bikes in the group, including mine, with smaller gas tanks. We get about[masked] miles before hitting reserve. If you start with a full tank you will be able to do at least 1/2 of the ride before filling up. We make a point of filling up before returning back to Rochester. If need be, we will stop whenever members need fuel.

Just to make everything clear. This ride is a postponement and reschedule of the Keuka Lake ride originally set for Saturday April 13th. Due to the unseasonable cold weather Joe decided to reschedule the ride to Saturday, May 4th.
