Thanks to all who braved the journey to Port Dover. We had 8 bikes go, 10 people in all. It was rainy and cold from Rochester to the border. Port Dover was packed with thousands of bikes. A good time. No rain there. On the way back at night it rained from Buffalo to Rochester, cold and a hard time seeing the road.. Thanks to David for leading the group from the border to Port Dover and to Rick, who led the way back to Rochester. A great group of people to ride with.

OK Guys and Girls, here's the plan for tomorrow. Leave McDonalds at 9:00, take Route 104 to Brockport, left onto Route 259, right onto Route 31. Meet Rick's friend in Albion around 9:45, take Route 31 into Buffalo, cross the border at the Rainbow Bridge. We will stop for fuel when we get into Canada. When we get to Port Dover we can have a quick meeting to discuss who is staying overnight and what time the same day returning members want to leave Port Dover to return to Rochester. The weather doesn't look great but I'm heading for Port Dover in the morning.

Iceberg, Thanks fot the post. Hope you can make it and hope to see you there. There is a boat yard and repair shop about 1/2 mile from the town on the right. They have a parking lot for bikes in front of their building. They also have air and a battery charger for bikes. I will try to park there.

The Rainbow bridge is really the best bridge to go over, if you look at the best way there without going thru the city of Buffalo, our best bet is route 31 straight into Niagara Falls to left on Hyde Park to a right on Lockport Street to left on 104 (main st) this will put us right on the Rainbow Bridge.

Molly & I are making a "day of" decision based on weather and commitments at work. Either way, we won't be meeting the group at Ridge Road, it's just too far out of our way. We're probably getting a later start than that to take care of a couple things first thing at work. Hopefully we'll see everyone up there, and can maybe ride back with the people that are not staying.

Actually, I rode straight down 104 to the Rainbow bridge 2 weeks ago on a Sunday afternoon, no wait at the bridge going over and approx. 10 mins. on the way back, this is a very easy way to, and the rainbow bridge is less congested, the peace bridge at that time of day is crazy
