Eagle Peak / 3 Sisters Trail Cleanup

Eagle Peak / 3 Sisters Trail Cleanup
Saturday, May 18th
9AM-1PM at Eagle Peak Trailhead
Join us as we partner with the San Diego River Park foundation as a part of the River Days celebration to clean up the area around the Eagle Peak/Three Sisters Falls trailhead, and down along the trails. We'll start around 9am and finish no later than 1pm, so bring your climbing gear to get some climbing in after the event.

Meet us there at the Three Sisters Falls/Eagle Peak trailhead or meet at the Los Coches Rd. Park-and-Ride before 8am if you want to carpool out to save gas and minimize our impact at the parking area.

Bring leather gloves if you have them, a hydration pack with at least 2 liters of water, snacks, and sunscreen, and wear sturdy shoes for the hike. We'll supply trash pickers and bags.

We'll see you there!

Was hoping to get some climbing in, the hike took a little longer than expected. Next time I will research a bit better!

Never been to the park-and-ride. Do you make a left or right when you get off of the Los Coches Rd. exit from the 8 ?

Go south on Los Coches 1 block, then east 1 block.

I'm thinking to check out the rocks near the falls - possible boulders & topropes.

Remember to watch out for snakes and poison oak.

I'll be at the park and ride with my Pathfinder and can offer rides. Climbing is an option; can go either way.

We will meet at the Park and Ride as well, and have room to take 2 people. Could climb after for a couple hours, but can't stay all afternoon. See you there!

I will be at the Los coches park and ride at 8:00
But I will not climb, I have to leave at about 12:00.
I can get some people out there, as long as you either come back with me at noon, or get another ride back.
    As for closure's
The peak itself is closed, the main wall is open from cruise line, to the east I believe.

What part of the wall is closed off for Raptor Nesting, or am I mistaken?

I think most people will meet at Los Coches park and ride.

I'm looking to carpool down there - preferably with someone who wouldn't mind driving. I'll chip in gas money.

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
