Mt. Woodson After Work

This is event for every Thursday evening from May through August.  Summer is here and we should really get outdoors, especially since we can. This meet up is for all levels.

Walk down the trail to the paved fire road and head up the hill on that road.  There will be a yellow house on the left (rumored to have great smelling jasmine plants).  There will be 2 large boulders, 1 on each side of the road.  These boulders are called "Practice Boulder".  We will meet in this general vicinity.  We will head up the trail at 5:30pm.  Since we do not have a lot of daylight, I want to make the most of the time.  So, no waiting around. If you are running late, post to the meetup so we know you are coming and can give you directions to where we will be. If people can get there earlier, go for it.  You can climb Practice Boulder, or smell the Jasmine, or post a comment on the meetup as to where you will be so we can find you. There is cell coverage on the mountain, and someone is bound to have a smart phone.  I highly recommend getting Meetup.com's phone app.

We will be doing part of the crack series:

Elsa's Crack

Poison Oak Crack

Milkbar

Baby Robbins

We'll mix it up sometimes and do:

Rockwork Orange

Robbin's Crack

Tower 2

Any other suggestions

Arriving earlier with Wing, likely 4 or 4:30. Will be up at the Poison Oak crack area. Setting up Big Grunt and/or Monkey Crack - both visible from the road, on the left(going uphill) - just past Poison Oak crack.

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
