Monday Night Yoga & Climbing at Mesa Rim (w/ Discount)

Hey all, Let’s meet at Mesa Rim for a 4:30 p.m. Yin Yoga class designed just for climbers! This is an ongoing event, meeting every Monday!  Yin Yoga involves long slow floor poses for gently nudging away tightness in the deep connective tissues of joints. After a workout, yin poses will release and lengthen pumped muscles. If you’ve been thinking of trying a yoga class, this is a great place to start. After enhancing our focus and priming our flexibility for high steps, big stems and long reaches with yoga, we’ll climb until 7:30 or so. If you need a partner, I’ll help you find one. If you can’t make it by 4:30, look for me around 5:45 leaving the yoga room (or ask the front desk staff to point me out on the wall or slackline). I also have a tag on my harness with the Meetup logo, and you can get one too! It makes it easier to find Meetup partners. Just ask Paul.

Beginning Yogis are welcome! New climbers will have to take a belay test before hitting the ropes and those interested in lead climbing should bring their own rope. If you have never climbed before, Mesa Rim offers beginner belay lessons Mon-Fri at 3pm, 5pm, and 7pm. Please call them to schedule a beginner belay lesson prior to coming to the Meetup.

Mention that you're with the Rock Climbers of San Diego Meetup group and get $2 off a day pass (regularly $17). If you’re just coming for yoga, the drop in rate is $15 per class, and the Meetup rate is $13 (same $2 discount). Add a climbing day pass for $7.

Once again:

Rates with your Meetup RSVP:
Climbing Only $15 ($17 w/o meetup RSVP)
Yoga Only $13 ($15 w/o meetup RSVP)
Climbing + Yoga $20 ($22 w/o meetup RSVP)

An RSVP by 4pm on event day is required to receive the discount, as they will be checking the RSVP list.

Climb on!

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
