I have been doing roped climbing since about 2002. When I was a kid I spent a lot of time in a tree and always liked rock scrambling. I have done it all and I'd hate to classify myself but I do like 2 things the most: Long routes and pushing myself on hard routes (for me hard 10s and 11s), not always combined. I also am a big wuss so you won't see me taking 50 footers (hopefully). I don't mind teaching newer climbers. Here is tip #1: Use up your biggest pieces first so the second has to carry them for you! My dream route is The Grand Wall in Squamish. Long, sustained, clean, beautiful setting.
Anywhere really. I like many local spots and the gym too.
I met them out at the crag.
I like to climb. Mostly rocks but I have been known to climb other stuff too. I'll admit, I've been an anti-social climber. I like to get in a lot of mileage and go as fast as possible. I think it's time for me to get to know the community better.
