About 15 years outdoors, mostly following. I lead trad/sport 5.7 to 5.8 with an occasional 9. Follow 10s and sometimes 11s. I prefer ropes to boulders. I would like to lead more, but I'm slow at anchor building and kinda chicken :) I need to get more efficient at anchors, build confidence, and learn self-rescue skills to feel safe on multi-pitch alpine routes. I started climbing at Mesa Rim last year when my boys joined the rock climbing team, and we're usually there MWF from 4-6 pm+. I'm often looking for a partner to show up early. I lead climb up to 10b in the gym. Top rope 10s and projecting 11s.
Anywhere outside! I'm also interested in road trips. Yosemite anyone? How about ice climbing?
I started climbing in 1997. My kids are on the Mesa Rim team, so we climb more indoors lately. I'm often looking for a lead-certified partner Weds & Fri at 4pm. I love Joshua Tree! I'm happy to meet outdoor climbers/campers/families for road trips.
Meeting people with common interests.
