Well, the weather is really going to suck for rock climbing, so I've decided to leave Eldo for another time and do some ice climbing. We're looking to climb at either the Silver Plume area or Georgetown. If you have your own ice climbing equipment, feel free to join us. We will stop at Dinosaur Ridge in Denver for carpooling. I encourage anyone attending this event to go to Boulder with us afterwards and join us at Southern Sun for dinner and some great brews!
We'll meet at Panera’s on N. Academy Blvd. at 7:30 am. If no one else in So CO signs up for this, I will not be stopping at Panera's. It’s close to the interstate and you can get good coffee and a breakfast snack there, if so inclined. The address is 7344 N Academy Blvd. That’s about halfway between Briargate Blvd and Woodmen Rd, on the west side of the street just north of Collins Rd. Since it tends to get busy in there, let’s meet up in the parking lot.
We’ll plan to drive up together but just in case, this is the route for getting to Dinosaur Ridge: I-25 north to Denver; CO Hwy 470 west; exit to I-70 west; from I-70 take your first exit and turn right at the bottom of the ramp and then left at the light.
