To all RCCS members, it is with very heavy heart that I pass this along to you. 14er enthusiast and fellow Rock Climbers of Colorado Springs member Kevin Hayne has passed away. From his father's e-mail to the group:

"Hi RCCS friends. This is Kevin's dad. We are going through Kevin's emails and making sure that people are aware of his fall and death while climbing Little Bear on June 15. Kevin's mom and I are grieving, but are grateful that he loved climbing so much and died doing something he truly loved. Kevin was also a strong Christian man, and we know where Kevin is now. If anyone interacted with Kevin and would like more information, here is a link to the news story: Our thoughts and prayers are with you all--stay safe as you climb.
Lynn Hayne"

Rest in peace, Kevin, and be forever with God
