Anyone interested in Rockhounding (not collecting) this Saturday (July 10th)?

I'm going to the Avalon area of the Patapsco State Park (entrance is just off Route 1 - Washington Blvd - near my house) about 10am Saturday July 10th.

There are some very interesting rocks in the river and banks and they are very accessible. We cannot remove them but we can study them. It will probably be hot but there is a lot of shade (bring water). There are also picnic areas if anyone wants to bring a grill. There is a $2 admission fee into the park.

When you respond to this message, it will go to the entire group, so everyone can see who is coming.

I hope to see you there.
