I hope Mother Nature cooperates tomorrow (Thursday) for our CMRMCE Meetup.
I've just put up a 14' x 16' hardtop gazebo so that we can meet outside (inside if it is too hot or raining). If we are outside, I hope to demonstrate The 9" Rock saw, a new band saw, and my cabbing machine.
Our topic for the evening will be on Maryland Minerals with an emphasis on Feldspar. See if you can find a piece of feldspar to bring in (you have plenty in your yard, street, nearby stream - see if you can find it).
There are basically two types of feldspar (not just families - like Iceland Spar or Labordorite) what are they?
I hope to see you then.
