Hi all. I am new to this and have been collecting finished gemstones. Some of them I would like to sell. Can any one point me to a buyer.

Thank You

Betsy, it is difficult to sell finished stones unless you are a registered jeweler or broker.

Mainly because of knowing what you are actually getting. the difference in price for a natural ruby and a lab grown ruby can be as much as 100 times the difference in price. Some stones are also sold as one thing but are really a different stone that looks the same but is worth much less.

I'd be happy to go over it more in detail with you and it would certainly be great to see some of them at one of our meetings.

You can contact me directly at gems @ thepc dot net (remove the spaces...)

I hope to see you at our April meeting.
