Walk the Rockingham Rail Trail

Join us for an easy walk on the Rockingham Recreation Trail starting at Main Street in Epping. We will walk for about 1 1/2 hours. Wear sturdy walking shoes and bring water and a snack. Consider also a walking pole/stick. We've been walking between 4 and 5 miles each time so we walk at a pretty good clip. It's completely dark now, when we start, so bring a flashlight.  *Please - no dogs.*

Main street is off of Route 125 in Epping. From Route 101 take 125 north and take a left at the lights by the shopping plaza. The Recreation Trail parking is a short distance on the left after Walgreens (Walgreens is 12 Main Street, Epping if you need an address for your GPS. The parking area is connected to the Walgreens parking lot/at the far end of the Walgreens lot).

I'm keeping an eye on the weather - if it's too crappy I'll cancel the meetup.

I agree...if the weather is too crappy we should cancel. Its hard enough snowshoeing, but to do it when its raining and snowing seems like a bit of a challenge.

Is this walk along the side of the road? or on a trail? Sorry for being so dense.

Hi Suzie - it's on the rail trail, which runs in/through the woods.
