Speak out against the Elephant Rides at the Nevada County Fair

The Nevada County Fair in Grass Valley is planning to offer elephant rides this year at the fair. Many other county fairs have stopped this inhumane practice of forcing elephants to give rides and we should urge the NC fair to do the same. The fair is having a board meeting on June 20th and the first item on the agenda is public comment on the elephant rides. Even if you cannot attend the public comment, please email Sandy Woods, Nevada County Fair CEO, and the 17th District Agricultural Association Board of Directors at [masked].
