Modern Western Square Dance - New and Experienced Dancers Welcome

Modern Western style Square Dance!

No experience, no partner and no fancy clothes required! It really is fun, friendship and fitness all rolled up into one!

Bring your two left feet and your friends too. We dare you to be square. This is not like the square dancing you did in elementary school. It is oh so much better! You will learn to allemande left, dos-a-dos, make stars, do a right and left grand, and then some! Join us and find out for yourself.

Couples, Singles and Families are all welcome. You can just show up - no need to phone, email or rsvp first.

Price:

Every Wednesday night of the year, except for December 25th 2013 and January 1st, 2014. If Montgomery County Schools are closed for snow, we do not dance.

Note: This is a great place to go for an introduction to square dance, for additional practice when you are taking square dance lessons or if you simply want to dance when ever your schedule allows.  This group is open to everyone regardless of experience and does not attempt to teach the entire mainstream or plus level square dance program to new dancers within a specific time frame.

We just grab a coffee and speak French. Some people have been coming every week for months... it creates a kind of warmth to the group.
