AA Game Day...6-15-2013...start at noon

  • This location is no longer available

Game Day...start at noon...end when your game ends!

As always, 3 tables of Global 1940 will be on hand.
We also have 1 game of AA50 available, 1 revised game, a couple of spring 1942 games and if anyone brings one we might also have a game of 1914 (the WW1 AA game that just got released).

We’ll be ordering pizza at around 5 pm (please bring $5 if you want to share in pizza) and everyone is encouraged to also bring snacks and drinks to share!

We’ll also be asking players to pitch in a $5 “Event Fee”. This money is used to help offset the cost of our Meetup website ($72 for 6 months) and to buy the materials for all the tables and stuff we build to help us better manage the games many pieces!

As always, please do your best to respect other players time by striving to be on time and planning to stay until the end (about 8 to 12 hours). Yes, it’s a longer day than most people put into a single days work, but trust me…its WAY more fun than that and its well worth the time!!!

I was as surprised as you that my Japanese axis partner had won in the pacific as you were, but unlike your self (i'm sure) I was releaved to learn that he won on that's side because I sure felt I was struggling in Europe to hold off your allies much longer.

It was a fun game for sure. I enjoyed watching Chris's strategy of building tons of subs with Germany. Sure helped distract America!

Good game Matt! The allied strategy of rolling $5/turn for tech with US paid off in a big way. We lost track of the game turns, but we think it was 12 turns. So about $60 bought US some super subs, long range air, and jet fighters! That and an oversight on what could reach London to recapture it helped cost the axis powers the game.

It was a very good game. Even with the Sealion I couldnt get Japan to be strong enough, so I just was being slowly whittled down all game.

Well, Russia got pretty strong there because of the Sea Lion. That's what I love about it and I usually don't mind too much about getting SL'd. You just have to be ready to take advantage of it with Russia.

Sorry I'm running late. I'll be there in about 30 minutes if there is a spot I can join in on a game.

My cheap labor (my sons) bailed on me this morning. So I'll be there on-time, probably.

Going to try and be there, too many summer chores. Probably will be late. If I can make it, I'll bring 1914.

Oooh 1914! I've wanted to give it a try and see how it played!

I might be late depending on Daughter's swim meet.
