Next Game Day!
Looks like business is picking up for David at the office space we are using (the bunker). The HUGE space we have had the blessing to be using for some time now has finally been leased, and I understand most of the rest of the office units have also been filling up; good on you David!
However, this means we have had to rearrange things at the bunker. Dave still has a space available for us, don’t anyone panic but the space he has for us right now is going to require us getting at least one more folding table. Anyone have a table (or 2) that we can bum?) It would ideally be a long table (8 feet). We also will need to dig up some folding chairs (anyone have some we can bum?); I guess we could all stand the entire time…or sit on the floor…I would rather have chairs. So, that means game day will NOT happen this weekend so I can dig stuff up. This means we will be getting off of our every other weekend schedule.
Also, with spring here (and summer fast approaching) the wife is demanding more of my weekend time and also with some work issues, I will be working this weekend (the 12th) and MAYBE the next two weekends (the 19th and the 26th). So, this means that there is a STRONG possibility that I will not be able to game until the weekend of June 2nd. I am putting this on the schedule as a FOR SURE next game day…BUT…
If there is anyone willing and able to help David set up, run and than clean up a game day (“host a game day”) on either the 19th or the 26th, let me know ASAP so I can help coordinate things between you and David so you will have everything you need (schedule it on our Meetup site, tables, chairs, games, etc, etc). Let me know.
In the mean time, if there is anyone that can’t wait that long to game again, contact myself (or Seth) an I will help to get you set up playing a free computer version of the game that you can play one of several ways, against your self, against a VERY lame computer opponent, by email, by forum or live online. Its real simple to use (once you get used to the interface) and while its NO WHERE NEAR as AWSOME as playing face to face, it sure beats not playing at all!
Until next game day, I wish you all a great spring and look forward to our next Meetup!
