A blue moon is the 2nd full moon of a month. Saturday morning is one day after the full moon, but close enough for me. I am thinking to stop at Mount Sherman for the Saturday sunrise on my way out to the mountains this weekend, starting early in the AM under the mostly full moon like I've done before. Starting by the Leavick Site I am thinking to head up Sherman first, and then take the ridge over Sheridan and end at Horseshoe Mountain, a centennial. Elevation gain probably near 4000 feet.
Meet in the vicinity of this building along the road. That is Horseshoe Mountain in the distance.
