Meetup RSVPs

All-

I want to remind everyone that the organizers of this group put a lot of effort into putting together an enjoyable hike up our beautiful mountains, and our expectations are that you follow some basic rules to ensure we are all prepared for the event that is organized.  With that being said, please review the items below and let me know if you have any questions:

1.  You must research every event you RSVP for and be prepared to inform the organizer about the details. ie.;  RT information; level of difficulty; trail details; and trip reports.

2.  You must have all the equipment necessary for the event.  ie.,  Footwear; climbing gear; food; etc. Please send the organizer a message if you have any doubts

3.  You should never RSVP for an event you are not qualified for.  A class 3/4 climb is very dangerous and you could be seriously injured if you are not experienced at that level.  We will do our best to screen you but we shouldnt have to.

4.  If you RSVP for an event and decide not to go please let us know at least a week in advance.  If you do not we will suspend you from the group as this is not fair to others in the group as well as the organizers who are planning the event.  I know there are exceptions to this so you will have to explain them to me personally in an email for me not to suspend you.

5.  The group has grown quite a bit in the last two years and there are many of you who do not join in any event.  I will start to remove anyone who has not participated in an event within the last six months.

Thanks for your cooperation and I look forward to many fun climbs with you.

Leonard
