The Rocky Mountain Women Writers are a gathering of women in the Denver area (all ages and experience levels welcome) who have been meeting since 2009. We all share a common passion for writing, but are unique in that we all have our own style and genre preference. This creates a great environment for learning and an endless variety of topics to explore.
Within our group we have poets, children's book writers, novelists, bloggers, journalists, non-fiction, women's lit, romance writers and more. The meetings consist of writing exercises, prompts, critiquing and time to work on individual projects.
The Western branch (led by RMWW Founder Melissa Kline) meets in Golden every other Monday, and the Eastern branch (hosted by Francelia B.) meets in North Aurora every other weekend.
Our mission is to inspire women to write from the heart and follow their dreams. We are all equals regardless of education, publications or literary achievements. We do, however, love to celebrate our accomplishments and are very proud of all of our members! Our group is focused on creativity, support and encouragement. We hope that you will join.
