Meteor meets Angular

  • Nov 13, 2013 · 6:30 PM

For this months meeting we'll be taking a look at how we can combine Meteor and AngularJS to build some amazing applications. Josh Robinson, organizer of the Denver Meteor Meetup Group, will be presenting a basic intro to Meteor and also showing us how the two powerful frameworks can work together. We're lucky to have have Josh as a guest speaker, and hope everyone can join us for the talk. See everyone soon.

    Is there any recording or source code from the event? Did you guys end up using the Meteor_angularjs package (https://github.com/lvbreda/Meteor_angularjs) by Lander Van Breda?

      Okay I see that you guys are using hexorx's fork which updates the original repo to work with the current Meteor. https://github.com/hex... This is the sourcecode of the talk: https://github.com/hex...

      Is there any example you guys worked on that combines these technologies with a database? (e.g. mongodb)

      Ah, nevermind. Read through https://github.com/hex....

      Didn't realize that:

      $meteor("todos").insert({
      name: "Do something",
      done: false
      });

      saves it to the MongoDB.
