End to End Testing with Protractor

  • January 28, 2014 · 6:30 PM

For this months meeting we're lucky to have Aaron Nielsen speaking about the new end-to-end testing framework for AngularJS known as Protractor (https://github.com/angular/protractor). While Karma will addresses unit testing in Angular, Protractor will be the go-to end-to-end, integration test tool.

Aaron is a software consultant and app developer from Colorado Springs who recently fell in love with AngularJS for all things front-end. He has developed several web and mobile applications in Angular, and has recently made the move to end-to-end testing with Protractor.

As an added bonus we'll go over some of the interesting topics that we're covered an Ng-Conf... looking forward to seeing everyone!

By the way - Trackvia is looking for UI Engineers! We're considering people of all levels (jr, mid, senior). It's a great opportunity to work on an enterprise level app built with Angular. Get in touch if you're interested.

Really good, I feel like it was a great opportunity for the group to share ideas, it was a bit over my head though... more motivation to learn faster!

Awesome presentation. Quick question what was the tool that we used where we could test small e2e tests in the terminal?
