AngularJS Mobile

Hi Angulars -

We are kicking off the Denver South AJS meetups with a discussion and coding session focused on AngularJS on mobile.  In this session, we'll take a look at some samples and work through a tutorial or two.  If there is interest, we can discuss a new mobile framework called Ionic (http://ionicframework.com/) which was built just for Angular on mobile.

All skill levels are welcome. Please note the following:

• This is a new subgroup and we don't have a sponsor for food, so please plan to grab something on the way.  Innovation Pavilion is providing the space, coffee and tea.  No food yet, sorry.

• This meetup is for sharing knowledge, learning together and hopefully answering some questions along the way. This is not intended to be a presentation and I make no claims of being an expert in the covered topics. I'm hoping we can all learn from one another.

Please plan to bring your laptop, tablet or whatever you develop on. This will be a working session where we discuss, explore and try out code.

Also, please keep your RSVP accurate.  We will meet in a conference room if we have 15 or less participants.  We will meet in the presentations area if we are over that, so I need to know which room to set up.

See you at the meetup!

Is this the appropriate place to discuss the structure of future AngularJS mobile meetups? I believe Robert suggested this, but feel free to correct me.

My vote is for any of the following:
    - 30min of AngularJS presentation (by Robert or whoever is interested). Or maybe even some show-and-tell + feedback from those attending.
    - 30min of discussion around an interesting AngularJS peripheral tool (e.g. Ionic, Firebase, etc.)
    - 1hr+ of group and individual project time to build with Angular!

I'm exploring Angular and Ionic daily, and I would be happy to share my knowledge with others (limited as it may be). I am also working on a mobile app, and would be happy to show details, progress, trials, and successes to anyone interested (outside of meetup or during purposed project time), and am always looking for advice, insight, and feedback!

    Thanks again Robert and group!
    -Tony

I like your suggestions Tony! Maybe we should move this thread to the main group Discussions area, just in case others who didn't attend are interested in a future meeting. Could you re-post your message there?

Hello Robert! My apologies for the delay, I attended CU Startup Weekend at Spark in Boulder this last weekend. It was a great time!

I created a new thread in the "Discussions" section of "AngularJS in the Rocky Mountains". I named the thread "Ideas for Angular JS Mobile". If the name for the discussion isn't appropriate, maybe I can delete and repost it.

      Have a phenomenal week Robert.

I have posted the slides from the Meetup last night on SlideShare:

They are set as public, so they should be accessible. Let me know if you cannot view them.

Where can we find the slides from last night? Would really like to check out some of those links from the presentation.

BTW, it would be nicer if the meetups could be another day please; 2nd Wed conflicts with 2 other tech Meetups I like to attend:

Thanks for the feedback Tom. I'm happy to discuss the schedule with the group. Mondays and Wednesdays are the only nights I have available right now and of course it will also depend on the availability of the meeting space.

Thanks for your consideration! Mondays historically seem to be the most open for me.
